Emmanuel Jacomy is a partner in Shearman & Sterling’s International Arbitration group. He advises and represents companies, governments and State-owned entities in international commercial and investment treaty disputes, in particular disputes having an Asian or African nexus. He also represents victims of the Khmer Rouge regime before the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC). Emmanuel is an Adjunct Professor at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing and frequently gives lectures on issues of international law. A French national, he has been based in Asia for the last ten years, and speaks fluent Mandarin.
