Louise Harvey is Non Executive Chair of FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communications practice in Brussels, specialising in EU public affairs. She has over 30 years experience in consultancy and has led public relations and public affairs businesses in Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK. Louise is also a member of the Advisory Council of Wilton Park, an Executive Agency of the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office; and a Member of the Independent Monitoring Board of the Dover Short Term Holding Facility. She was the first female President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium in 102 years and is a former member of the Board of Amcham EU. Before moving into consultancy, Louise was a British diplomat and had postings in Malaysia, Tanzania and The Netherlands. She was awarded an OBE for services to British business in Belgium in 2004 and an MVO for services to The Queen in 1979. She is married with two children.
