In her current role as CEO of Girl Rising (GR), Christina leverages her decades of experience in documentary film, during which she produced and contributed to films for CNN, ABC, PBS and more, to lead GR in using storytelling as an engine of social awareness and change. Since 2009, GR has expanded its work to 11 countries around the world, delivering research-proven educational programming that reaches 10,000 educators and 200,000 adolescent boys and girls. Christina holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Brown University and a Masters in Community Planning from the University of Texas, Austin. She lives in New York’s Hudson River Valley with her husband and three children.
