Description
Valeria Palermi was born in 1960 in Pescara, Italy. After graduating in Foreign Languages and Literatures she enrolled in the Istituto per la Formazione al Giornalismo, Milan. For the past 6 years she has been the editor-in-chief of D La Repubblica (GEDI).
On top of the weekly magazine, D includes 6 yearly issues of D LUI (men's magazine) and 2 of D Casa (home and architecture).
Before directing D, she has been for 13 years senior editor for L'Espresso. Previously she has been Senior Head Editor at Marie Claire (Mondadori), Glamour (Condé Nast), Anna (Rizzoli), Vera (Gruner und Jahr), Cosmopolitan. She also worked as programme planner and journalist for Rai, Radio 105, Radio Montecarlo.
