Description
Mauro Macchi is Accenture's market unit lead for ICEG (Italy, Central Europe and Greece) and the country managing director of Accenture in Italy. Before assuming that role, Mr. Macchi was the Financial Services Europe and ICEG Lead where he was responsible for setting the group's overall vision and strategy, for sales and revenue growth, and for guiding the development of client relationships. Since joining Accenture in 1990, Mauro has held a variety of roles. He was the global Banking industry lead for Accenture Strategy and from 2012 to 2015, he served as Accenture Strategy lead for Europe, Africa and Latin America, helping clients across all industries improve their competitive advantage in markets being transformed by digital technologies. He has been a board member of the Accenture Foundation in Italy for more than 10 years, contributing to the development of programs that accelerate digital transformation in the non-profit sector. He is a passionate advocate for inclusion, diversity and mentoring initiatives. He has a degree in economics and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California Irvine Graduate School of Management.
