“Feminist diplomacy” is an innovative approach to international relations, which promotes gender equality as a key guiding principle. Translated to strong commitment to advancing women’s leadership and participation in negotiations at the international level, feminist diplomacy also advocates for the promotion of fundamental rights of women and for gender-sensitive development assistance, peace and security. We will hear from leaders in diplomacy on how raising women’s voices in foreign policy can make a difference.
