Description
Selene Biffi is a social entrepreneur who started her first social venture – a platform for free, online courses – with 150 Euro while still at university, growing it to serve the learning needs of youth in 130 countries.
Since then, she has worked on video games relying the latest scientific breakthroughs to children, chatbots to fight online hate on social media, sensors for landmines detection made of recyclable technology and an ice cream 3D printer.
She also launched a school to revive traditional storytelling in Kabul – for which she received the “Mother Teresa Social Justice Award” – and other programs to support youth and women in Afghanistan.
