Description
Marjut Falkstedt has been appointed Secretary General of the EIB in 2018.
Prior to that, she was Deputy Secretary General of the EIB (2015-2018) and Deputy Chief Executive of the European Investment Fund (2013-2015). She was then responsible for Risk Management & Compliance, Finance & Budget, Information and Middle & Back Office.
Before joining the EIB Group, she worked in the Directorate General Economic and Financial Affairs (ECFIN) at the European Commission. She was dealing with SME and infrastructure financing or sovereign lending. Previously, she had different responsibilities in audit and lending within Dresdner Bank.
