Tia Kennedy is an Indigenous youth advocate and environmental activist from Oneida Nation of the Thames and Walpole Island First Nation located in Canada. Tia has worked with various businesses and governments across Turtle Island. She is the founder of a diversity, equity, and inclusion consulting agency called Kiinew Kwe. Through training and tools, Kiinew Kwe empowers organizations to combat discrimination within the workplace. Among 60 across Canada, Tia's First Nation still lacks access to clean drinking water. Tia has been a strong advocate for the protection of water. She became vocal about the realities of water pollution with the death of her grandmother.
