Description
Horia Mosadiq is a well-known and award wining Human Rights Defender in Afghanistan and region with 26 years of work experience in Afghanistan and South Asia region, in the fields of human rights, peace, justice and reconciliation, transitional justice, gender, security and violent extremism.
Horia served as Researcher for Amnesty International, Director of Human Rights Research and Advocacy Consortium (HRRAC), Media Commissioner for Afghanistan Elections Commission, Senior Advisor to Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission, Observer in the Constitutional Loya Jirga of Afghanistan in 2003- 2004, Founder and Director of Safety and Risk Mitigation Organization (SRMO) and Conflict Analysis Network (CAN).
