Bishop Leah D. Daughtry is a nationally recognized strategist, activist-organizer, political operative, and faith leader. CEO of the 2008 and 2016 Democratic National Conventions, she is Principal of On These Things, LLC., a boutique strategic planning & engagement firm. A fifth-generation pastor, she serves as Presiding Minister of The House of the Lord Churches. An Equity Advisor for Sephora, Inc., among her many civic engagements, she is Co-Convenor of Power Rising, Co-Chair of Black Church PAC, and Co-Chair of the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference. Daughtry is co-author of the award winning book, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Politics (St. Martin’s Press, 2018). A yarn addict and renown shoe queen, she is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Wesley Theological Seminary.
