Description
Born in Ethiopia, Atti Worku is Co-CEO of the African Visionary Fund and the Founder of education and community development nonprofit Seeds of Africa. Atti’s efforts have been recognized with an African Diaspora Award for Community Service and The African Youth Excellence Honorary Award. She was named one of the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) class of 2019. She is a Women’s Forum Rising Talents Initiative 2020 nominee. Her essay on girls' education as a global climate change solution was published in the book Why Women Will Save the Planet. As a contributor to Skoll.org, Worku has written multiple essays on power dynamics and racial Injustice in philanthropy. She has been a speaker and panellist at The Skoll World Forum, The UN, and Bloomberg Philanthropies.
