Description
Elizabeth Wanjiru Wathuti, born August 1, 1995 in Kenya, is a Kenyan environmental activist. She founded Green Generation, which aims to raise awareness of environmental issues among young people, including a project that resulted in the planting of 30,000 trees. In 2019, she received the Africa Environmentalist of the Year award by the Eleven Eleven Twelve Foundation. She was also named one of the 100 most influential young Africans in the Africa Youth Awards.
