BECOMTECH
Co-Founder & Director
Description
Dorothée Roch is co-founder and director of BECOMTECH, a French NGO which helps close the gender gap in technology. Before founding BECOMTECH in 2016, she worked for organizations such as Emmaüs and FACE, where her main objective was to help getting the long-term unemployed back to work. BECOMTECH's main mission is to open up possibilities to teenage girls to explore computer science. So far more than 300 girls across France have already taken part in their extensive digital programs JUMP IN TECH that span over 110 hours. After this program, the girls become ambassadors and help launch new initiatives. Dorothée is thrilled to support the girls with the tools to become change makers, so that by tomorrow, women are fully involved in the digital transformation and defining the future of our world.
