Description

Luc Martens is the EMEAF Research and Operations Manager for ExxonMobil Chemical. He is the director of the European Technology Center and Sr. Scientific Advisor on technology matters related to Energy and Climate. Luc holds a PhD in Bioengineering from the Catholic University of Leuven. He started his career with EM in 87 and is co-inventor on several catalytic processes for chemicals production. Luc assumed a series of Global Managerial positions and grew the group’s R&D expertise by attracting talented people passionate about research. Luc is married with Isabel, passionate about travel, hiking and spending quality time with his 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
