Description
Maria Juliana is Senior Manager of Sustainable Services at KPMG in France, where she works on climate change, ESG communication, green finance advisory services and controversies. She is a specialist in ESG rating methodologies, corporate sustainability reporting, ESG communication, greenwashing and analyzing and mitigating ESG controversies. Maria has covered a wide range of clients, including investors, businesses, and organizations worldwide.
She works with companies, European institutions, and banks in their sustainability reporting. In addition, it contributes to the assessment and contribution of business strategies and projects related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Regarding Sustainable Finance, she evaluates ESG performance at a project/issuance level for issuers from Europe; linked to the alignment within the principles issued by the International Capital Market Association (ICMA), CBI (Climate Bond Initiative), and/or EU Taxonomy.
