Su-Lin Watson is a Managing Director and Senior Banker at Standard Chartered Bank, based in New York. Standard Chartered Bank is a leading international bank with a 160 year history and a unique global footprint across 59 markets. The bank’s global footprint connects high-growth and emerging markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East with more established economies in Europe and the Americas. In her role as Senior Banker, Su-Lin acts as the global relationship manager for a portfolio of the bank’s largest U.S. headquartered MNC clients, including clients in the Industrials and Transportation sectors. Prior to joining Standard Chartered in 2019, Su-Lin was a Senior Relationship Manager at Westpac Banking Corporation. Su-Lin joined Westpac in 2014 from Citi’s Corporate & Investment Banking team, where she held various roles in New York, London and Frankfurt. Su-Lin has ~20 years of experience in the banking sector and has been based in the U.S. for over 15 years. Su-Lin was born in Singapore, and raised in both Singapore and London. Su-Lin is a graduate of the University of Oxford with a B.A. in Modern History, and a graduate of the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies with an M.A. in Chinese Studies.
