Description

Ananya Tiwari is the co-founder of SwaTaleem, a nonprofit that works with historically marginalized adolescent girls and under-resourced public-school system in rural India to enhance their educational outcomes using a systems approach. She holds a PhD in Educational Psychology and a minor in Gender Relations in International Development from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is one of the seven Leaders to Watch by Google, 2022 World Bank McNamara Education Grantee, 2021 American Association of University Women International Fellow and the recipient of 2020 Illinois Innovation Prize among others.
