Felicity Aston is a British climate scientist turned Polar Explorer and author. For twenty years she has traveled extensively in the Polar Regions, from spending three years on an Antarctic scientific research station to working on a nuclear-powered Icebreaker traversing the Arctic Ocean sea ice. Felicity regularly orchestrates and leads record making all-female ski expeditions, including the largest and most international team to ski to the South Pole and a novice Euro-Arabian team that skied to the North Pole last year. In 2012 she became the first woman to ski alone across Antarctica. She has been awarded the Polar Medal in her native UK and made MBE for services to Polar Exploration.
