Ertharin Cousin serves the Chicago Council on Global Affairs (CCGA) as a Distinguished Global Fellow leading research and advocacy primarily in the areas of Food Security and Nutrition. Cousin co-chaired the CCGA 2019 publication, “From Scarcity to Security: Managing Water for a Nutritious Food Future”.
During her recent tenure at Stanford University as the Payne Distinguished Lecturer in Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, she initiated and led a research project exploring a theory of change for reducing malnutrition in poor and underserved communities (globally and domestically) through investment in market-based innovation solutions including agtech and foodtech.
