Véronique was born in Belgium where she studied Economics at ICHEC. Véronique has always worked in the financial sector in Belgium and abroad, mainly at BNP Paribas Group where she assumed several senior positions both in Retail and Investment Banking. Veronique has therefore a deep understanding of the banking industry and its digital transformation. Leveraging on her experience in managing large operational teams, she joined the Executive Committee of ING in France as Chief Operating Officer in May 2019. The COO domain is a horizontal department, which includes Operations (Robotics, AI), Operational Risk, IT, IT Security, Data Management and KYC.
