Daniel Cohen is a professor of Economics at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (rue d’Ulm) and Vice President and Co-Founder of the Paris School of Economics. He also acts as financial advisor in the international Advisory department of Lazard Frères, is director of the Centre for Economic Research and its Applications (CEPREMAP), is a member of the Economical Analysis Council of the Prime Minister and associate open-head at Le Monde. He was a prizewinner from the French Association of Economic Sciences (1987), was elected “Economist of the year” by the Nouvel Economiste, received the award of the Book of Economics 2000, the Léon Faucher’s prize of the Academy of moral and political Sciences.
