Margaret-Ann Splawn is Executive Director at the non-profit Climate Markets & Investment Association (CMIA). CMIA is the Active Private Sector Observer to the UN Green Climate Fund and the World Bank's Climate Investment Funds. Margaret-Ann works with these funds, plus organizations and governments, to create enabling environments that improve the pace and scale of finance and investment into low carbon products and services. Prior to this, she provided carbon advisory, risk management and procurement services for companies in the EU with compliance obligations in the Emissions Trading Scheme and has over twenty years of experience working in traditional capital markets.
