Presentation

Born in Lyon in 1957, Gilles Pélisson is a French business leader and entrepreneur, and a graduate of ESSEC and Harvard business schools. Between 1983-1995, he held various posts in the Accor hotels group. In 1995, he became CEO of EuroDisney and Chairman & CEO in 1997. In 2001, he joined Bouygues Telecom as CEO and was appointed Chairman & CEO in 2004. In 2006, he became CEO and a Board member of the Accor group and Chairman and CEO in 2009 (until 2011). Until his appointment to head up the TF1 group in 2016, he held non-executive directorships in a number of listed multinationals : Bic, NH Hotels, Accenture. He is a Knight of the Légion d’honneur and of the French National Order of Merit.
