Rooted both in Africa and in Europe, Anaïs Amazit who holds a Bachelor in Business and Languages as well as a Masters in Management has been working in grassroot community development and social entrepreneurship for 8 years. As Head of Operations for Barefoot College in Africa, she is developing 5 regional training centres for rural, illiterate or semi-literate women across the continent who learn how to assemble, install and repair solar panels. She strongly believes that demystifying technology and empowering women are key to fight climate change.
