Diane Binder is a business executive and social entrepreuneur who has been focused for the past 15 years on private sector impact to address the global challenges of human development, in particular related to environment and economic empowerment.
Diane is currently working as Senior Vice-President International Relations for SUEZ Group, a global leader in water and waste management, after being responsible for developing the Group’s activities in Africa. She is also the President and co-founder of Action Emploi Réfugiés, the leading service in France to provide jobs for refugees. Diane is a member of the French Presidential Council for Africa advising President Macron.
She serves as Board member of Women in Africa, the first platform dedicated to the economic development and support of leading and high potential African women.She was selected as a « Youung Global Leader » of the World Economic Forum (2019), a « European Young Leader » by the leading think-tank Friends of Europe (2018), amongst the Choiseul 200 « Economic Leaders for Tomorrow » (since 2017) and the Women’s Forum Rising Talents initiative (2014).
Diane is a graduate from E.M. Lyon and Georgetown University with a MSc in Foreign Service and an Honour Certificate in International Business Diplomacy.
