Agnès Pannier-Runacher has been appointed Deputy Minister to the Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire in October 2018. She was before Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Compagnie des Alpes (2013-18), a leading player in the European leisure industry and world leader in managing ski areas.
Beforehand, Agnès was Customer Business Unit , Director at Faurecia (automotive industry), in charge of Customer Business Unit (2011-13), Executive Director at Fonds stratégique d’investissement and member of the executive committee (€16 bn AuM, €1.5 bn of investment / year, now BpiFrance ; 2009-11), Deputy Director of Finance and Strategy in charge of M&A and strategic investments at Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (public financial institution, 2006-08) and chief of staff at Assistance Publique - Hopitaux de Paris (Paris Hospitals, €6 bn budget, staff of 93,000; 2003-06).
She started her career as an audit inspector at the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry.
She was a Board director of various industrial and financial companies during the last 15 years.
She graduated from HEC and ENA civil service school. She holds CEMS Master’s degreee (HEC-Köln--Universität).
She was a Young leader of the France China Foundation. In her sparetime, she is involved in mentoring activities.
