Presentation
Sabrina Speich is full professor of Oceanography and Climate Sciences at the ENS of Paris and member of the Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique and the French climate Institute Pierre-Simon Laplace. Sabrina’s work focuses on assessing the role of the ocean in climate variability, changes and climate extremes. In recent years, Sabrina is developing innovative research projects to understand small-scale ocean-atmosphere interactions to improve weather-to-climate predictions. She is also involved in studies untangling how the ocean dynamics and climate change is shaping marine ecosystems. She is a world-recognized expert in ocean and climate modelling and leading large international projects.
