Isabelle Kocher is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure and Corps des Mines Engineer. After holding several positions in the French Ministry for the Economy, she served as Industrial Affairs Advisor to Prime Minister Lionel Jospin. In 2002, she joined the SUEZ Group, which became ENGIE, where she held a series of positions over twelve years: in the Strategy and Development department; as Director of Performance and Organization. She served as Deputy CEO and then CEO of Lyonnaise des Eaux. From 2011, she was Executive VP, CFO of the ENGIE Group. On November 2014, she became Director, Deputy CEO and COO of the Group. She was appointed Chief Executive Officer of ENGIE on May 2016.
