Chief Economist & Director of Research
Danae Kyriakopoulou is Chief Economist and Director of Research at the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) based in London, and also chairs OMFIF’s Sustainable Policy Institute. Her research focuses on areas relevant to global public policy and investment institutions such as central banks, sovereign funds and public pension funds. These range from monetary policy and financial regulation to reserve management, investment policy and governance. She is a frequent speaker and contributor on these themes in global publications, conferences and the media. She holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and an MSc in Economics for Development from Oxford University.
