Description
Maria Christina Baroudi is a social entrepreneur pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Duke University. Her commitment to innovative problem-solving began with her breakthrough research project recycling atmospheric pollution into clean energy. She is currently working to develop a Global Digital Trading Platform that would tackle global food waste, compensate for such dissipation by feeding the deprived and allowing better value for consumers, and reduce atmospheric emissions by saving redundant resources spent to produce unused foods. Her current project's objective of re-inventing the World Food System would contribute to end global hunger, promote healthcare, reverse climate change, and sustainable economic and social progress. For many years, Christina was a triple podium national athlete in skiing, taekwondo, and swimming, allowing her to establish a national ski and cultural exchange program between Lebanon and Val d'Isère, France. Christina is fluent in French, English, and Arabic and is conversant in Mandarin.
