Ms. Bah Diallo is an important figure in the defense of the right to quality education in Guinea, in Africa and in the world. She began her career as a teacher and was appointed Minister of Education in 1989, a position she held for seven years during which she laid the foundations to remove all barriers to education, in particular for girls. Aïcha Bah Diallo then became Director for Basic Education and Assistant Director General for Education in UNESCO. She is now pursuing a career as an international consultant. She joined the Aide et Action International Board in October 2011, first as its Secretary and later as its Treasurer until 2015, and as its International President in June 2017.
