Sheikha Shamma is the Founder and CEO of Alliances for Global Sustainability, and is a well-respected business woman and industry expert in the field of sustainability. Holding a Masters degree in Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge University, she has presenting academic papers at global conferences and holds the position of Research Associate at the Institute for Social and Economic Research, Zayed University. She also sits on the Industry and Academic Advisory Board of the Academy of International Business MENA. A renowned philanthropist, her charitable foundation, Circle of Hope, has established several local and international initiatives including ‘Wanna Read?’, ‘Beacon of Hope’ and ‘MorEquity’ (previously known as Women’s Empowerment and Equality Board).
