Elissa Freiha is an entrepreneur, investor and women’s rights advocate. After growing up in Paris France, Elissa moved back to the UAE at the age of 23 to Launch Womena®, a platform promoting female inclusion in the Middle East’s innovation economy. As a prominent speaker and active angel investor, Elissa has been frequently recognized for her work, most prominently as Forbes Middle East's 100 Power Business Women (2020), Arabian Business' 100 Most Influential Arabs(2016, 2017,2018), and awarded as Entrepreneur of the Year by both Esquire Magazine and One Young World in 2019.
