However, according to Plan International, over 50% of girls around the world have been harassed online and this is worse where they are politically outspoken, disabled, Black or identify as LGBTIQ+. What is the role of internet ‘hashtivism’ in educating for change and feminist dialogue? How can women be better equipped to combat this violence?
