Chua Tian Tian is an award-winning broadcast journalist and Finance Presenter at SPH Radio's MONEY FM 89.3. She helms the station's flagship evening drive time show "The Evening Runway", where she provides key updates on regional market movements in the last hours of trading. At MONEY FM, Tian Tian pioneered the award-winning business strategy segment called "Under the Radar". She was the sole producer and presenter for the segment since its inception in February 2023, producing and presenting over 230 interviews featuring mostly C-suite and C-suite-1 executives - all within the span of just slightly over a year. The segment targets B2B listeners, and in particular time-strapped business leaders, VCs and fund managers who are on the lookout for business ideas and strategic partnerships for their companies. Guests on her segment include Richard Koh, CTO of Microsoft ASEAN, Chin-Yee Png, CFO of Temasek, Kee Joo Wong, CEO of HSBC Singapore, Shariq Barmaky, CEO of Deloitte Singapore, Dr. Thai Lai Pham, President and CEO of Siemens ASEAN, Yann Bozec, President Tapestry Asia Pacific and CEO of Coach China, Nicolas Girotto, CEO of luxury fashion house Bally, Dwaipayan Sadhu, CEO of Trust Bank Singapore, Jean-Marc Pontroué, CEO of watch brand Panerai. The segment also featured a series of SGX-listed firms ranging from brandy maker Emperador Distillers, gloves manufacturer Sri Trang Gloves Thailand, marine logistics group MarcoPolo Marine, meat producer JAPFA and more. It also closely tracks companies who sought an IPO on the Singapore Exchange in recent years (Sheffield Green, Winking Studios and more). On a lighter note, Tian Tian's interviews also took listeners down memory lane to look at how the names we knew are reinventing themselves for the future. They included conversations with Francis Looi, CEO, Polar Puffs & Cakes, Dominic Law, CEO of Neopets, Tzy Horng Sai, Director, Julie's Biscuits and with Danny Ho, CFO of Sa Sa International Holdings Limited. The segment has received positive feedback from listeners and interviewees alike, as it often gave them a different perspective of the businesses they come in contact with everyday. Tian Tian is also recognised as a LinkedIn Top Voice for Finance, with a strong following of C-suite and C-suites-1 executives. Prior to joining MONEYFM, Tian Tian was a television journalist, where she reported first hand the impact of COVID-19 on businesses and livelihoods during the height of the pandemic.
