Description

Sylvie started her career as strategy consultant in London and Paris. She joined AXA Group in 2006 and has since held several strategic positions including Chief of Staff to the Group’s former Chairman & CEO and Secretary of the Board of Directors. In 2014 she moved to AXA ART, (the division of AXA dedicated to fine art insurance) as CEO, Continental Europe and Global Head of Distribution & Marketing. After the acquisition of XL Catlin by AXA in 2019, she joined AXA XL as Global Head of Revenue Synergies and was promoted to Head of Client Management APAC & Europe. She took on the role of CEO, Singapore in 2021. Sylvie graduated from ESCP French business school and also holds a Master degree from the London School of Economics. She is a Board member at the French Alliance Singapore, the French Chamber of Commerce Singapore, independent Board Member at Hemarina (a French startup in biotech) and a member of the Global Advisory Board of TEFAF (The European Fine Art Fair).

Economic abuse is behaviour which controls a victim’s ability to acquire, use, and maintain resources, thus threatening their economic security and potential for self-sufficiency. In combating this, women’s education around employment, financial law and resource management are powerful tools of empowerment. Which tools exist to help women improve their financial literacy? How can this learning be more broadly accessible?
