Description

Magali is the co-founder and Senior Strategic Advisor of Baan Dek Foundation in Thailand, a child rights organization working to improve the well-being of vulnerable children and families in urban slums and construction site camps. With two decades in Southeast Asia in social work and child protection, she co-led the Systemic Impact Strategy, a unique sector-driven approach to sustainable social impact in construction, addressing the sector’s workforce needs, including 40% women, with 60,000 children in these camps. She founded Dao Ethical Gifts, a social enterprise empowering vulnerable women in Northern Thailand with work readiness and new opportunities through sustainable merchandise.
