Ho Ren Yung is Vice President of Banyan Tree Holdings, a leading international hospitality company that manages and develops premium resorts, hotels and spas across four continents and 24 countries. She leads Brand HQ, a cross-functional unit responsible for the development, alignment and strategy of all brands managed by the group. This scope encompasses customer experience, talent development and culture, brand marketing, communications and assurance.
Ren Yung first joined the Group in 2009, and currently also oversees the group’s iconic Spa and Gallery business unit. She is the co-founder of sustainable artisan brand Matter, and the founding co-organiser of Creative Mornings Singapore. She is an active mentor, judge and investor in the social entrepreneurship space, and holds degrees from the London School of Economics, and National University of Singapore.
Born in Singapore, Ren Yung grew up in the hospitality and food product industries, with her family operating businesses listed across the Stock Exchanges of Singapore and Thailand. She is married to Adrien Desbaillets, co-founder of SaladStop!, the first and largest healthy food chain in Asia.
