Description
Katarzyna built a civic network of empowered citizens making use of their rights. Thanks to their pressure, the political culture in Poland is changing and becoming more open, transparent and accountable. It also advocates for better legal solutions concerning openness of governance, monitors transparency of legislative process, litigates, takes part in the public debate. For this activities, she was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta by the President of the Republic of Poland in 2011. She is an Ashoka Fellow – Innovators for the Public Good. In 2021 she was nominated for its award by the POLCUL Foundation.
