Kate is a Design Research Lead at global design company IDEO. Kate and her team are lucky enough to be able to explore how the world is seen and experienced by people from all walks of life. These encounters generate insights that can inspire design which is fundamentally more human-centred across all kinds of categories, from mobility to retail to healthcare.
Kate loves to explore what people do, feel, think and say and above all what motivates them. This basic curiosity has taken her from a BA in Social Anthropology at LSE, to women's rights activism in Delhi, to becoming a designer after gaining her MA in Service Design at the Royal College of Art.
