Description

Daniele Franco has been appointed Minister of Economy and Finance on February 2021. After obtaining a Master's degree in Business Organization and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of York, Great Britain, in 1979, he joined the Economic Research Department of Bank of Italy, where he worked until 1994. From 1994 to 2019 he held different high-level positions between the European Commision, the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Bank of Italy itself, where he finally held the role of Deputy Governor from May 2019 to February 2021.
