Description
Gabriele Galateri di Genola was born in Rome on January 11th, 1947. Married with one daughter, he has been awarded the Cavaliere del Lavoro honor (Italy) in May 1999 and also the Légion d'honneur (France).
He is Chairman of Assicurazioni Generali from April 8th 2011.
He is Chairmain of the Italian Institute of Technology and Member of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Italian Stock Exchange.
He is non-executive Board Member of Moncler SpA, Lavazza SpA, Giorgio Cini Foundation and Edenred S.A.
He is also Member of the International Board of Overseers of the Columbia Business School and Member of the European Advisory Board of Temasek.
