Adriane van der Wilk has focused her carreer as an international gender consultant on researching the phenomenon of online gender based violence and digital violence against children. She has collaborated with the European Parliament, the European Women's Lobby and the Council of Europe, and her work has been instrumental in the development of the Istanbul Convention's first General Recommendation on digital violence against women.
A French mother of two who lived in the Netherlands, Adriane is now applying a gender lens to cities' lack of inclusivity for families.
She has co-founded Les Enfants Dehors, a social enterprise that advocates for family friendly cities and creates hybrid spaces for greening cities through free play.
