Description
Selene Biffi is the founder of She Works for Peace, an organization supporting women entrepreneurs in conflict areas such as Afghanistan and Ukraine.
Selene started her first social venture – a platform for free, youth-led online courses – with 150 Euros while still at university, growing it to teach youth in 130 countries. Since then, she has worked on educational video games, chatbots to fight online hate, an ice cream 3D printer, and has launched a school reviving traditional storytelling in Kabul, Afghanistan.
For the impact of her work, Selene has received several accolades including the “Rolex Awards for Enterprise – Young Laureate” and the “Mother Theresa Memorial Award” in India.
