Description
Ann is CEO and Founder of the Walker Marchant Group (WMG), a communications and public affairs advisory firm specializing in corporate reputation management, crisis solutions, strategic media relations and global issues management. Ann founded WMG over 22 years ago and she is a recognized strategist and advisor having created and executed global impact campaigns that influence public opinion, impact public policy and change outcomes, mindsets and actions.
Working with elected officials and political candidates, global corporations and organizations she aligns business goals, messaging and value propositions to promote greater awareness, engagement, activation and mobilization around global issues affecting women, girls, justice and social responsibility.
Formerly, Ann spent seven years working in the White House for President Clinton. As Special Assistant to the President for Communications Research and Special Projects, Ann was responsible for rapid response operations and media/communications strategy.
She is a member of the Advisory Board of the George Washington University Milken School of Public Health. She serves on the board of directors for the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) and she chairs the Executive Committee of Knock Out Abuse – a domestic violence awareness and prevention organization.
Ann has one daughter who is a medical student. She lives in Washington, DC and is a global citizen.
