Description

I was born in Iran, but fled to Germany with my family as a child. I was concerned with the topic of flight and founded the NGO Flamingo network for refugee women and children in Berlin. I studied Iranian Studies and Anthropology. In May I received the Global Citizen Award for my commitment to refugee women. Since 2022 I work for a foundation as a research assistant in transcultural community gardens for refugee women.
