Star Jones is an attorney, former New York city homicide prosecutor, business executive, best-selling author, and an Emmy award nominated television host who has worked in media for over 30 years. She is Judge & Host of Divorce Court, the longest-running television court show of all time. Best known to television viewers for her candor, confidence, and uncanny ability to clarify complex legal and social issues, Ms. Jones was an original co-host of ABC’s The View for nine years and is a Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame inductee. In 2022, U.S. President Joe Biden named her, Chair, U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad. She is the former president and a member of the Board of Directors of Professional Diversity Network, Inc. (Nasdaq: IPDN) and the International Association of Women, & co-founder and principal of the Instant Impact Group, LLC, a diversity, equity & inclusion consultancy firm. A heart disease survivor, Ms. Jones is National Volunteer of the American Heart Association and lectures and leads discussions around the world on a variety of socially conscious topics.
