Description
Genevieve is passionate about advancing gender equity and justice. She is Associate Director of the Center for Equity, Gender & Leadership at the Haas School of Business at the University of California-Berkeley where she works to advance equity and inclusion within teams, organizations, and technologies. Before Haas, she worked with the International Center for Research on Women, UN Women, and UN Foundation where she focused on topics including digital inclusion, inclusive technology, and women’s economic empowerment across Africa, Asia and Latin America. She holds a Master’s in Development Practice from UC Berkeley and started a nonprofit advancing girl’s education and civic engagement for sustainable development in Peru. Genevieve is a Research Affiliate at the Minderoo Centre for Technology & Democracy at Cambridge University. She is also a doctoral candidate at Oxford University exploring artificial intelligence, gender, and design justice.
