Description
Marie Chabanon is Group Technical Director at DATA4, the European specialist in dedicated and colocation hosting, a position she has held since January 2018.
Her main missions are the Design, Construction as well as the Operations of Data Centers that are ever more environmentally friendly across the Group's Platform (France, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg). Together with the technical teams she manages, she is responsible for service continuity, operational quality of services. As a member of the Comex, she also participates in the group's development projects. With more than 15 years of experience acquired in companies operating in various sectors of activity and with an international reputation, such as Socotec International, Starbucks Coffee and GL Events, Marie Chabanon brings to DATA4 Group her expertise in the fields of large-scale project management and technical infrastructure maintenance. Prior to joining the DATA4 Group, Marie held the positions of Senior Consultant and then Market Manager for Southern France at APL, a consulting and engineering firm specializing in the design and construction of data centers. She was a member of APL's Executive Committee in charge of strategy. She joined DATA4 Group in April 2017 as Deputy Technical Director. As Technical Director and Comex member, Marie is a sponsor of Data4's "Data4Good" Sustainability Program which aims to reduce the group's environmental footprint by developing the circular economy. She is also a signatory of the Women's Forum for Economy and Society's Charter for the fight against climate change on behalf of Data4. She supports issues related to the development of women's leadership in technical professions and in particular to address climate change issues. Marie Chabanon holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) in Lyon as well as an Executive MBA in Management and Business Administration from the EMLYON business school.
